PAR GOVERNMENT

PAR Government started as Pattern Analysis and Recognition (PAR) Corporation in 1968. PAR's initial technical focus was applied to one and two-dimensional signal processing algorithm development. PAR also developed and sold commercial point of sales (POS) systems to the restaurant industry. PAR transitioned to PAR Technology Corporation in the early 1980s with inception of PAR Tech Inc and PAR Government Systems Corporation as subsidiaries. PAR Technology Corporation is listed on the NYSE as PAR. Rome Research Corporation is a subsidiary of PAR Government Systems Corporation.
